Basketball Game Preview: Carson City-Crystal Eagles vs. Fulton Pirates

Carson City-Crystal and Fulton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Carson City-Crystal Eagles will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Fulton Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Carson City-Crystal was beaten by Fowlerville 69-41.

Despite the loss, Carson City-Crystal saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Collin Andrews almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Andrews a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaah Kirvan, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Fulton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They were outmatched by Fowler and fell 62-32. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carson City-Crystal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Carson City-Crystal was taken down by Fulton 60-33 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Carson City-Crystal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
