Rome had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 41-28 win over the Cass Colonels. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Colonels: they've now won three in a row.

Cass is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Rome will take on Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cass, they will be taking part in a tournament against Model at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
