Basketball Recap: John Marshall Piles Up the Points Against Arcadia

It's playoff time, and John Marshall had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Arcadia Firebirds 91-27. Given the Justices' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Firebirds are ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

John Marshall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.3 points. Arcadia's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

As of now, neither John Marshall nor Arcadia have any future games scheduled.
