Softball Recap: Queen Creek Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Queen Creek won the last time they faced Higley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 15-6 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Emma Reynolds was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Layla Schaeffer, who scored four runs while going 2-for-4.

Queen Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Higley only posted a batting average of .321.

Queen Creek is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Higley, they dropped their record down to 5-12-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Queen Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Perry on the 28th. As for Higley, they have also already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against ALA - Queen Creek on the 28th.
