With a playoff win on the line, Aledo rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Amarillo Sandies with a sharp 11-0 victory. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 contests by six runs or more this season.

KYLEIGH PAWLAK was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was MARINA TAVERAS, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Aledo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Amarillo only posted an OBP of .067.

The win was the 14th in a row for Aledo, bringing their record up to 28-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Amarillo, they moved to 27-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Aledo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Birdville on the 15th. Amarillo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
