Football Game Preview: Waukegan Bulldogs vs. Zion-Benton Zee-Bees + How To Watch

Waukegan hasn't had much luck against Zion-Benton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Zee-Bees at 7:00 p.m. Waukegan has given up an average of 41.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Waukegan is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Mundelein on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Mustangs, falling 63-14. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Meanwhile, Zion-Benton lost to Stevenson on the road by a 40-21 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Zee-Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Patriots are ranked 76th).

Zion-Benton's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Waukegan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Waukegan took a serious blow against Zion-Benton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 51-22. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
