Softball Recap: Chesnee Comes Up Short

Chesnee and Ninety Six squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Chesnee had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Chesnee's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Ninety Six, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Chesnee nor Ninety Six have any future games scheduled.
