Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Triumphs

Lutheran posted their closest victory since March 1st on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Lutheran was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-103), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Chance Conroy paced Lutheran's offense, picking up 20 kills. Conroy got some help from Eli Traylor and his 41 assists. Conroy was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Lutheran has already played their next contest (against Discovery Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fountain-Fort Carson also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Doherty.
