Eureka had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Parkway Central Colts as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Parkway Central, they dropped their record down to 14-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Eureka and Parkway Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked fourth) will meet Lindbergh (ranked 66th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Eureka 2.3, the Flyers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Parkway Central will face off against DeSoto at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (90 vs. 208).
