Volleyball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the St. Paul Swordsmen. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Swordsmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-15.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for St. Paul, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Firebaugh didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against La Mirada on the 11th. As for St. Paul, they will face off against Salesian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Paul is facing Salesian at the right time seeing as Salesian is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
