Basketball Recap: Campbell Hall Vikings vs. Canyon Comanches

The Campbell Hall Vikings entered their tilt with the Canyon Comanches with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Campbell Hall came out on top against the Comanches by a score of 57-44 on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Canyon saw an underclassman step up: Jordan Garcia scored ten points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Garcia pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Cutler, who scored six points.

Campbell Hall has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

Campbell Hall will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Windward's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 matchups. As for Canyon, they will be playing at home against the Vanguards at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Modena is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
