Basketball Recap: Gholson Takes a Loss

Gholson and Zephyr squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Gholson had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Zephyr Bulldogs, falling 73-38. Gholson's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Gholson's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Zephyr, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Gholson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zephyr, they will square off against Wells on Thursday. Wells will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Zephyr surely won't give up without a fight.
