Norman had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They took down the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves 56-42. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Wolves are ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norman's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Edmond Santa Fe, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norman will face off against Choctaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edmond Santa Fe, they will take on Piedmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
