Basketball Recap: Western Guilford Skates Past Ragsdale with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Western Guilford's strategy against Ragsdale on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Western Guilford Hornets blew the Ragsdale Tigers out of the water with a 57-28 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hornets had established a 22 point advantage.

Western Guilford found their leader in sophomore Seth Harris, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Hunter Boykin was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Ragsdale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Malachi King went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points.
