Softball Recap: New Madrid County Central Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

New Madrid County Central waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Caruthersville Tigers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. 11 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Aubrey Aycock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Aycock was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Laura Kate Johnson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last seven games. Madilynn Colbert was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
