Basketball Recap: Mid-Prairie Piles Up the Points Against Central Lee

Mid-Prairie lost to Central Lee back in February of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks took their match with ease, bagging a 77-41 win over the Central Lee Hawks. The Golden Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 26 points or more this season.

Mid-Prairie has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Central Lee, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Looking ahead, Mid-Prairie will host Williamsburg on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Mid-Prairie has won six straight at home, while Williamsburg won nine straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Central Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
