Basketball Game Preview: Wesclin Warriors vs. Collinsville Kahoks + Official Tickets

The Wesclin Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Collinsville Kahoks at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Wesclin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Tuesday, Wesclin didn't have too much trouble with Waterloo as they won 63-49. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Meanwhile, Collinsville played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Alton, falling 65-43. The loss continues a trend for the Kahoks in their meetings with the Redbirds: they've now lost three in a row.

Wesclin will have to contain Jordan Taylor as he made an impact in Collinsville's last game. He dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Taylor is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games he's played. Deandre Brown was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 13 points.

Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wesclin, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
