Football Recap: Dunedin Falcons vs. Southeast Seminoles

On Friday, the Dunedin Falcons came up short against the Southeast Seminoles and fell 26-19. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though they lost, Dunedin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Dunedin wouldn't let Southeast keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Jaden Dell, Isaac Oster, and William Jones picked up one apiece. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Dunedin got some further help from Garry Woessner: he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Southeast found their leader in underclassman Louisen Desinor, who threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.

Dunedin now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Southeast, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Dunedin will take on Hollins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Dunedin focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday. As for Southeast, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m.
