Basketball Recap: Neptune Drops Season-High Score on Brick Memorial

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neptune). They strolled past the Brick Memorial Mustangs with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-40. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Neptune is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Brick Memorial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Neptune has already played their next game, a 45-37 defeat against Wall Township on the 21st. As for Brick Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-44 loss against Point Pleasant Boro on the 21st.
