Volleyball Recap: Giavanna Primavera and Elizabeth Bryant Secure Win for Sebastian River

Sebastian River's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers. The Sharks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hustlers, too.

Sebastian River's got stronger as the match went on, holding Melbourne Central Catholic to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Sebastian River was led to victory by Elizabeth Bryant and Giavanna Primavera. Bryant had nine assists and eight digs, while Primavera had eight digs. Those eight digs gave Primavera a new career-high.

Sebastian River's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they moved to 4-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sebastian River will challenge Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they will square off against Brevard HEAT at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
