Baseball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bothell Cougars, falling 14-5.

Ryan Boehm made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Trevor Snow also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bothell, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Liberty will face off against Mercer Island at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bothell, they will challenge Hazen at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bothell's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hazen has averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
