Basketball Game Preview: Urbana Tigers vs. Danville Vikings

Urbana is on a four-game streak of home losses, Danville a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Urbana Tigers will host the Danville Vikings at 7:00 p.m.

Urbana is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Monticello on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Urbana had to suffer through a 50-22 loss at the hands of Monticello. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 550th, while the Sages are ranked 231st).

Meanwhile, Danville can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They strolled past Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin with points to spare, taking the game 47-30. The game marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season.

Danville's victory bumped their record up to 10-19. As for Urbana, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
