Baseball Recap: Orem Sets Scoring Season-High Against West Jordan

It was a proper cat-fight when Orem took on West Jordan on Friday. The Orem Tigers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the West Jordan Jaguars. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Orem got a massive performance out of Cy Berge, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Berge has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Parker Van Buren, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Orem always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Orem back to even at 2-2. As for West Jordan, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Orem will square off against Richfield at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Jordan, they will take on Wasatch at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
