Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Comes Up Short

Pueblo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Flowing Wells Caballeros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Caballeros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Pueblo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-22.

Pueblo's record now sits at 5-18. As for Flowing Wells, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Pueblo will venture away from home to take on Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flowing Wells, they will host Ironwood Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
