Washington put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Princeton Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hatchets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Washington took Princeton into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 16-25, 15-9.

Ella Williams paced Washington's offense, picking up 13 kills. Williams got some help from Addy Williams and her 18 assists. Ella was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Princeton, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will challenge South Spencer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Princeton, they will take on Springs Valley in a tournament on Saturday.
