If Novato was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Marin Catholic on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Novato took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Head-Royce Jayhawks on Saturday. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Novato now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Head-Royce, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
