Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luther Prep Phoenix. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mariners of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Luther Prep, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-3.

St. Francis has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Whitnall on the 21st. As for Luther Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Racine Lutheran on the 23rd.
