Volleyball Recap: Proviso West Takes a Loss

Proviso West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Grayslake North Knights.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Abby Dorich was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Proviso West's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Grayslake North, they moved to 9-18 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Proviso West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Evergreen Park on the 18th. As for Grayslake North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Shepard on the 18th.
