Basketball Recap: Choctaw Central Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lanier

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Choctaw Central had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Lanier Bulldogs as they made off with a 42-19 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The win was the 18th in a row for Choctaw Central, bringing their record for this year to 29-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Lanier, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.

Looking ahead, Choctaw Central will take on Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Morton will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Choctaw Central surely won't give up without a fight. Lanier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
