Football Recap: Hutto Hippos vs. Johnson Jaguars
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hutto couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. The contest between the Hippos and the Johnson Jaguars didn't end well, with the Hippos falling 56-37. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (35), the Hippos still had to take the loss.

Several Hippos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keilan Chavies, who rushed for 74 yards and two TDs. Dylan Owens also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Elvis Estrada was his usual excellent self, throwing for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes, while also rushing for 64 yards on only five carries for Johnson. Estrada has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
With the loss, Hutto broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3. As for Johnson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
