Baseball Preview: Skyline Coyotes vs. Horizon Huskies
The Skyline Coyotes and the Horizon Huskies will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Skyline's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Poston Butte as Skyline made off with an 11-0 win. Considering the Coyotes have won four contests by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Jake Goins looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Zane Vander Linden was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Julian Otero was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Horizon earned a 7-2 victory over Arcadia on Monday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Preston Burke looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jackson Weber, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Kishimoto-Parrish, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Horizon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
