Watsonville hasn't lost a match since December 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They skirted past the North Monterey County Condors 2-1. The Wildcatz have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Condors, too.

Anthony Guido and Damian Mora scored both of Watsonville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Watsonville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-4. As for North Monterey County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watsonville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Archbishop Mitty at 10:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
