Basketball Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

DeKalb and Lake Park squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but DeKalb had to settle for second. They took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Park Lancers.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Lake Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 19-12 record this season.

DeKalb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Park, they will challenge St. Charles East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with St. Charles East sitting on eight straight wins and Lake Park on four.
