Soccer Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Franklin County was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers by a score of 2-1. If Franklin County were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Howard Tech when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat snapped Franklin County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4-2 record. As for Howard Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Central Magnet will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Franklin County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howard Tech, they will welcome Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
