Recap: Thunder Basin Bolts vs. Riverton Wolverines
After losing to the Riverton Wolverines the last time they met, the Thunder Basin Bolts decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. It was close, but Thunder Basin ultimately received the gift of a 46-43 win from a begrudging Boltssquad. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.
Riverton lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dre'vin Monroe, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Parker Paxton, who scored 13 points.
Thunder Basin's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Riverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Thunder Basin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sioux Valley at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. Riverton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Natrona County at 8:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Natrona County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
