Basketball Recap: Swanville Comes Up Short

Swanville and Upsala squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Swanville had to settle for second. The game between the Swanville Bulldogs and the Upsala Cardinals didn't end well, with the Swanville Bulldogs falling 68-50. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

It was another big night for Jack Primus, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 14 rebounds for Upsala. Primus has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Samuel Laliberte was another key player, putting up 16 points and five boards.

Swanville's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Upsala, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Swanville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upsala, they will take on Braham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Braham knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Upsala likes a good challenge.
