Baseball Recap: Payne Tech Takes a Loss

Payne Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the Cedar Grove Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Monday.

Payne Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cedar Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Payne Tech will be playing at home against Millburn at 4:00 p.m. on May 8. As for Cedar Grove, they will challenge Montclair Kimberley Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
