Soccer Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss

Eureka managed to keep up with McKinleyville until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Loggers lost 3-0 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against McKinleyville this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat back in September.

Eureka has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-3 record this season. As for McKinleyville, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eureka will face off against rival Arcata at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, McKinleyville is set to take on their familiar foe Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
