Volleyball Game Preview: Park Rapids Panthers vs. Barnesville Trojans

The Park Rapids Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Barnesville Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Rapids is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Park Rapids lost 3-0 to Perham on Thursday.

While Park Rapids was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Perham's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Barnesville had just enough and edged out Frazee 1-0 on Thursday.

Park Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Barnesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Park Rapids took their win against Barnesville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
