Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Marshall Commandos vs. Farragut Admirals

The Chicago Marshall Commandos will venture away from home to square off against the Farragut Admirals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Chicago Marshall came up short against Intrinsic and fell 2-0. The Commandos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chicago Marshall was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Farragut had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against Chicago Mathematics & Science by a score of 2-0.

While Farragut won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17.

Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Chicago Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Chicago Marshall beat Farragut 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commandos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
