Softball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. West Forsyth Titans

The Reagan Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the West Forsyth Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Reagan and Davie, and Reagan kept the tradition alive. The Raiders blew past the War Eagles 7-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with an 8-2 victory.

West Forsyth's win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Reagan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
