Baseball Recap: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. South Broward Bulldogs
The Hialeah Thoroughbreds didn't have quite enough to beat the South Broward Bulldogs on Friday and fell 5-4. The Thoroughbreds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rolando Vergara was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
