When it comes to explaining why Atascadero lost, don't look at Damon Mitchell. Despite the final result, he rushed for 215 yards and one score while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Mitchell didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

The win made it two in a row for San Luis Obispo and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games.
