Baseball Game Preview: North Kitsap Vikings vs. Kingston Buccaneers

For the second straight game, North Kitsap will face off against Kingston. The Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

North Kitsap took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Kingston get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

For Kingston's part, Henrik Goller was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Kingston saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vaka Tameilau, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Kitsap's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Kingston, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7.
