Nike's EYBL returning for third summer

Nike's Elite Youth Basketball League will return for a third season this spring and summer, unveiling the schedule and a new web site Tuesday.

The first of four EYBL sessions tips in Minneapolis, Minn., April 20-22. Subsequent stops in Virginia, Texas and California lead up to the EYBL Finals at the Nike Peach Jam in North Augusta, S.C., in mid-July.

The league includes 40 teams, including defending champions BABC of Massachusetts and 2010 titlist Team Takeover of Washington, D.C. New or reconfigured teams include the Bluff City Legends of Tennessee, ICP/Rotary based in Portland, Team United of North Carolina and Texas Pro of Houston.

April 20-22 – Session 1 (Minneapolis, Minn.)
April 27-29 – Session 2 (Hampton, Va.)
May 11-13 – Session 3 (Dallas, Texas)
May 25-28 – Session 4 (Oakland, Calif.)
July 12-15 – Nike Global Challenge (TBA)
July 18-21 – EYBL Finals at the Nike Peach Jam (North Augusta, S.C.)
