Basketball Recap: Make It 17 in a Row for Lingle-Fort Laramie

Lingle-Fort Laramie put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Niobrara County Tigers 79-42. The Doggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Lingle-Fort Laramie to victory were Brady Cook and Brody Roberts. Cook dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 boards, while Roberts dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Cook is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 41 games he's played dating back to last season. Ned Nelson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Lingle-Fort Laramie pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points over those games. As for Niobrara County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.

Similarly, Niobrara County will take on Moorcroft at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday up 48 places (18 vs. 66). Lingle-Fort Laramie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season.
