Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Claysburg-Kimmel walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Juniata Valley Hornets on Thursday, sneaking past 5-4. The Bulldogs' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Isabella Paris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Savanna Crissman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Black, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Claysburg-Kimmel's victory bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Juniata Valley, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-10-1.
