South Lenoir is 6-1 against Wallace-Rose Hill since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. South Lenoir fell victim to D.H. Conley and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The scorekeeper got an easy start last Thursday as neither Wallace-Rose Hill nor Pender made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bulldogs won by a run and slipped past the Patriots 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matches in a row.

Wallace-Rose Hill pushed their record up to 7-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for South Lenoir, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

South Lenoir beat Wallace-Rose Hill 4-1 in their previous meeting on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
