There's no place like home for South Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Huss Huskies 53-6. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

South Point found their leader in sophomore Kaveaun Pless, who rushed for 103 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries.

South Point was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huss only rushed for 36.

Special teams played a big role in the game for South Point, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kham Crawford, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

South Point pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average over those games. As for Huss, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
