Basketball Game Preview: North Sevier Wolves vs. American Leadership Academy Eagles

The North Sevier Wolves will challenge the American Leadership Academy Eagles at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Sevier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They secured a 45-40 W over Rowland Hall. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They took their game with ease, bagging a 74-46 win over the Ravens. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

American Leadership Academy's win came from a few key players North Sevier will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tad Swarnes, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. Grant Jackson was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

American Leadership Academy pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for North Sevier, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

North Sevier won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, slipping by American Leadership Academy 39-38.
